These are just more pics from girl's night.

While the Men are away, the Women will PLAY!!

Our wards Father's and Son's outing was last Friday night. We couldn't possibly just sit and home doing nothing so instead we had a GIRL'S NIGHT! I invited a few friends and their daughters to come over. Everyone brought either an appetizer or dessert to share. I also had each person bring a white elephant gift to exchange. So after eating as much as we possibly could and then some, everyone went out to the back yard and made a big circle around the gifts. Each person picked a number and the fun began! One of my girls ended up with an 8x10 picture of our family.Thank you Jill! Gosh I can't figure out why people weren't fighting over that...Oh well, in the end everyone seemed to have a good time.

Orchestra twins

Last night Halli and Kendal had an orchestra concert at their school. Halli plays the violin and Kendal plays the viola. They both did very well and we are so proud of them! This isn't a great picture because they aren't even holding their instruments but they wouldn't let us take any pictures after it was over. There was so many orchestra students that they made the audience stay in their seats until the students had gone out to put their instruments away. I had no idea so I only arrived early enough to find a seat. Bummer!!

OK For Takeoff!

Help! We've been invaded! Cade has really been into making paper airplanes ever since my nieces husband, Nathan, showed him a website that walks you through the folding process. It has kept him busy and turned our downstairs into an airstrip. Last night I collected 19 planes just downstairs!! At least it's not something destructive. (The printer paper is disappearing awefully quick though.) I'm glad he is using his creativity.

This is totally off the subject but I never gave an update on Brigg's front teeth. The dentist said they should be fine and it could take a month for him to look normal again. We still don't know if they will die or not. The swelling has gone down significantly but the teeth have not made any big changes as far as coming into place. Time will tell.

Just in Time for Family Pictures

Doesn't it seem like something crazy always happens right before your suppose to have a family picture?! One of the kids decides to cut their own hair, break an arm, or in our case ...injure their two front teeth. We are scheduled to go to AZ on the 9th to have family pics with my side of the family. My mom has already changed it a couple of times due to other unforseen events(like her getting extremely sick and in the hospital for over a week), so there is no more postponing.

This is the quick version of what happened....... I was gone Tuesday evening on an errand and the three youngest kids were swimming at my friends. They had been running around in the pool area (which we are all taught that you shouldn't do because you can slip and get hurt). And of course it happened. Brigg fell and hit his mouth on the cool deck ramming his two front teeth up into his gums so bad that you could barely see any part of them. When I got the call from Rich that Brigg had gotten hurt and I needed to come home, I didn't expect things to be too bad. After I walked in the door and saw a bloody towel on his mouth I knew it wasn't just a fat lip. His gums and lip were so swollen that he looked like a different person. It was so sad.
He's a pretty tough little boy though. My friend called her dad that is a dentist and told him what happened. He said that if his root buds for his adult teeth had already begun to form, that they could be damaged or that his teeth could turn black if the current roots die. But he said hopefully they will come back into place as
his gums heal.
Well it has been four days and the swelling has gone down a bit but the teeth haven't moved at all. Bummer!! So needless to say he is going to see our dentist on Monday. My girls say he looks like a little "WHO" from The Grinch. Mean!!I think he is still so cute! We are still going to AZ for pictures.
